Well, didn't know what to say for the title really. Anyhow it's that wonderful time of the year. You know, when all you hear is Christmas music and people act like psychos as they try to get "hot deals" on stuff. Yep, it's great to see that we've become such a materialistic society in a time of family gathering. Well anyhow, just some updates on what's going on with me and such.

First, I'm still not done with my digital art commissions from Neko like I had planned. *Insert major sad face here* Seriously, I really thought I could get them done before Turkey-day. Nope. Thanks to unexpected events, in addition to my work and online classes, my hopes of getting those drawings done went out the window. *Stares out the window*. A-hem... So what are these unexpected events? First, the fact that our house will be hosting Thanksgiving dinner instead of one of the neighbors like it was supposed to be. (We rotate between the 3 houses each year). So guess what I've been doing little by little, yeah.. cleaning. Fun times. Then the second thing, is my health. First I was sick with a sinus cold thanks to this fantastic weather here in Virginia. I mean, how could I not LOVE it being 70 degrees one day then it being 40 degrees the next. Yep, that's Virginia for ya. Ackmed had it right when he described our weather. Anyhow, as if that wasn't good enough, after recovering from that, I've been hit with dizzy spells, so I've been having issues being on my computer for more than 2 or 3 hours. VERY inconvenient. I mean, on top of the fact that I have to do my drawings on the computer, all my school is the computer as it's online learning. My "books" and such... yep, all on the computer. So believe when I say I'm quite frustrated with the situation.

So what's wrong with the Christi-chan? Not sure. Went to the doctor's yesterday, especially since I collapsed briefly at work Sunday morning (no one saw me fall thank goodness, I felt so stupid), and no I didn't faint. I went to put something on a lower big when suddenly the room spun and I couldn't level myself out. So yes, my equilibrium is out of whack, the cause is being investigated along with my dizziness. They took some of my blood and are running tests and then after I go back in 2 weeks I may have to go see an ENT because part of my issue is most likely caused by my inner ear. So yeah, I will not give up on getting those drawings done!

The group is in need of 50 more elves for this year. For those not familiar with the program, the idea of the group is gift of giving. We are not doing this to get something in return. It's a fabulous group and fun to participate. Even if you can only do 1 drawing, that's fine.
